It has been confirmed by the Government and the Financial Conduct Authority that our services and sector fall within the definition of an essential service, in that we form part of the processing of insurance claims and the property repairs required thereby.

Our Promise To You
‍We have carried out our risk assessment and operate our daily business within these parameters. Before any work is carried out we also undertake to carry out a further risk assessment for your property, taking into consideration your particular requirements. All our staff have undertaken additional training to equip them with the knowledge they need to operate safely. We have also distributed PPE to our staff in accordance with the Government guidelines.

What We Need From You
‍Before we visit your property we will ask you some basic health surveillance questions in order to establish if your property is safe to enter. We would ask that you answer these questions as truthfully as possible in order to allow our staff to safely enter. We particularly need to know if anyone has symptoms, has been self isolating, has contracted or is recovering from the virus or is deemed to be at risk due to existing health conditions or age.

Covid precautions when working in properties occupied by others
‍Government advice has recommended the following precautions when working in properties occupied by others.

• Clean your hands before entering
• Wear gloves at all times where possible
• Avoid close contact with occupants and maintain the 2m social distance
• Ask occupants to vacant the areas we are working in
• Leave all internal access doors open where reasonably practicable to minimise surface contact
• Bring your own food and drink to site
• Do not offer food or drink to workersLimit the number of workers in a confined space to maintain the 2m rule
• Do not share tools, pens etc
• Clean down and decontaminate all surfaces we have come into contact with before leaving the property
• Dispose of contaminated PPE, wipes, cloths, tissues etc correctly
• Clean down the vehicle cab, surfaces and handles at end of each day
